The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi; the Dean of the College of Administrative Sciences, Professor Dr. Haider Al-Dulaimi; and representatives of the University’s Cultural Relations Department.

In his remarks, Professor Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of sustained communication between public and private university institutions in order to enhance and further develop scientific and academic programs.

He further noted that the Memorandum aims to establish a genuine and effective twinning partnership between public and private universities, and to explore the possibility of launching joint pioneering projects that embody the concept of the “productive university” through the establishment of science and technology parks and technological incubators.

It is worth noting that the agreement provides for the exchange of scientific expertise through faculty mobility for research collaboration, scientific meetings, lectures, and the examination of theses and dissertations, in addition to supporting scientific projects and training programs.

The agreement also includes cooperation in the development of curricula in corresponding departments and the mutual utilization of laboratory equipment available at both institutions.

Moreover, it emphasizes collaboration in the authorship and publication of joint scientific research in reputable journals indexed in international scientific databases, as well as participation in conferences, symposia, workshops, scientific and cultural competitions, and academic events organized by both universities.

The Memorandum further encompasses cooperation in the preparation of academic books and scholarly articles, the exchange of publications and scientific references, and the promotion of knowledge-sharing in ways that contribute to the achievement of academic objectives, in addition to supporting faculty exchange visits and joint scientific activities.

The signing ceremony was also attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem; the Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoomi; and several directors of departments at the University Presidency, including Projects and Construction, Studies and Planning (Graduate Studies), Quality Assurance, and the Student Affairs Department.
