With the involvement of academics and professionals, the Department of Tourism Technologies at the Technical Institute of Najaf / ATU University hosted a workshop on (Galileo electronic reservation system).
During a workshop session, the Dean of the Institution, Dr. H Al-Abdali, emphasized the need of developing our students’ capacities and keeping up with developments in all disciplines, including tourism. The workshop lectured by Mr. Ihsan Ali from (Travelport) company, main goal is to familiarize participants with electronic reservation systems, including the Galileo booking system and the most important entries in it, as well as to provide participants with the necessary skill on how to issue travel tickets to travelers using this system with skill and responsibility. The training includes a number of practical learning demonstrations of how to utilize the system.
