The functions of this section as a notary public in fulfilling its duties and responsibilities:
1.Verifying the guarantees for students in the primary and subsidiary records of each college and institute affiliated with the university.
2.Auditing study commitments for students pursuing education both inside and outside Iraq.
3.Reviewing academic contracts and their annexes.
4.Monitoring students in colleges and institutes concerning the duration of their studies.
5.Preparing detailed data records in the official registers.
6.Auditing fellowship contracts signed by the university president.
