As part of its support for the academic process and the development of language skills, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, through the university’s IELTS Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, administered the international English language test IELTS to a number of applicants for postgraduate studies (Master’s and PhD programs).
The examinations were conducted under the supervision of the university’s specialized staff in accordance with the regulations and guidelines approved by the British Council, and were implemented through highly organized administrative and technical procedures to ensure compliance with international testing standards.
The IELTS Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University is considered one of the centers officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Middle Euphrates region. The center operates in coordination with the British Council and under the supervision of trained personnel responsible for administering international examinations.
The testing mechanism also included both paper-based and computer-based components to assess participants’ English language proficiency. The center further affirmed its continued organization of the examinations and the sequential announcement of upcoming test dates.
