Under the patronage of the Chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), who is represented by the Dean of the Technical Administrative College of Kufa, Prof. Dr. Fadel Abd al-Abbas al-Abidi, The university inaugurated a range of exhibits and pavilions following the framework of the eleventh environment week.
The festival activities included the inauguration of (a flower exhibition – a book fair – a collection of cottage industries), as well as the induction of a pavilion for free medical laboratory examinations, and the launch of an extensive volunteer campaign to plant fruit trees at the Institute, with widespread participation from students and Institute employees.
