Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Concludes the Student Handball Championship
Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University concluded its Student Handball Championship, organized as part of the second semester activities and under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, University President.
The championship, which lasted several days at the indoor sports hall of the University Presidency, featured intense competitions among participating teams, reflecting the students’ advanced skill levels and growing interest in university sports activities.
The closing ceremony was attended by Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, along with a number of university staff. The ceremony included awarding the winning teams with trophies and presenting appreciation prizes to the championship referees.
The final results saw Al-Rumaitha Technical Institute claim first place, Babylon Technical Institute take second place, and Al-Musayyib Technical College secure third place.
