As part of its plans to expand educational infrastructure and establish advanced academic environments, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University continues the implementation of the project to construct the College of Health and Medical Technologies building in Al-Shamiya District. The project is being directly supervised and monitored by the University President, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, with ongoing follow-up by the university’s engineering and technical staff.
The project has witnessed the continuation of soil filling and leveling works at the site designated for the college, in preparation for the subsequent stages of construction, in accordance with approved engineering and technical specifications and within the established timelines.
Dr. Al-Zubaidi emphasized the importance of advancing strategic projects that support the development of technical education and expand its capacity. He noted that the establishment of the college represents a significant addition to the educational infrastructure of Al-Diwaniyah Governorate and will provide an integrated academic environment that contributes to preparing qualified health and medical professionals.
These efforts reflect the university’s commitment to developing its educational institutions and completing its construction projects in line with its development plans and vision for enhancing the academic and service sectors.
