As part of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University’s commitment to strengthening academic openness and supporting international students, Angham Jasim Al-Rumahi, Dean of the College of Health and Medical Technologies / Kufa, one of the university’s institutions, received Arab and international students enrolled in the college for the 2025–2026 academic year in her office, in the presence of the college’s senior academic staff.
During the meeting, discussions focused on the students’ academic and social needs, as well as efforts to address and overcome any challenges that might affect their academic journey. The meeting also reviewed the services and facilities provided to support their integration into the university environment.
The meeting included international students from several countries, including Syria, Sudan, and Nigeria, who are enrolled under the “Study in Iraq” initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the 2024–2025 academic year.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean reaffirmed the college’s commitment to providing a distinguished and supportive educational environment for international students, noting that they serve as bridges for scientific and cultural exchange among nations, thereby reinforcing the university’s mission of academic openness.
