Under the generous patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the Babylon Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Oras Khadir, the Babylon Technical Institute at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a memorial ceremony on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of V_ictory, in Al-Mutanabbi Hall at the Babylon Technical Institute. The ceremony was attended by the head of the Al-Sadiqun bloc, Representative Sheikh Habib Al-Halawi, in addition to a group of teaching and administrative staff and students at the institute. The ceremony included a remembrance of the role of the martyred leaders in achieving victory and defending the homeland, and moving speeches were delivered about their great sacrifices that resulted in preserving the country’s sovereignty and stability, in addition to displaying documentary materials and pictures that embody their heroic journey and immortal national positions. For her part, Dr. Oras presented a memorial shield to Sheikh Habib Al-Halawi, in appreciation of his presence and valuable participation in this national event. The institute’s students also expressed their welcome and gratitude to the guest by presenting him with a shield of loyalty, expressing their thanks and appreciation for his efforts and continuous support. This memorial activity comes within the framework of commemorating the annual anniversary of the great leaders and emphasizing the importance of drawing lessons and values from their sacrifices, which will remain a source of inspiration for future generations. At the end of the ceremony, the attendees expressed their thanks and pride in the institute’s management for organizing this national event, which reflects loyalty and appreciation for the blood of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland.
