The Department of Dormitory Affairs at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, in cooperation with the Department of Student Activities, held a Quranic gathering for dormitory students in the Al-Musayyib formations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The event was attended by the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi; the Scientific Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai; the Administrative Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Al-Majtoumi; the Dean of Al-Musayyib Technical College, Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Al-Zubaidi; the Dean of Al-Musayyib Technical Institute, Prof. Dr. Malik Ne’ma Hawas; department directors at the university; community and academic figures; department heads; professors; and a large number of college students.
The gathering was organized in cooperation with Al-Bayan Quranic School in Babylon, and held on the college’s sports field. The event included recitations from the Holy Quran by students, with the participation of Quran memorizers from Al-Bayan Quranic School.
Prof. Dr. Al-Zubaidi expressed his happiness with this event, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Islamic identity and human values in the hearts of students, and the role of such activities in fostering religious and national belonging.
This gathering comes as part of a series of religious and cultural activities organized by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University during the month of Ramadan across its various formations, aimed at enhancing spiritual values and developing students’ social skills
