In the context of strengthening the efficiency of financial resource management, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held a meeting of the Higher Education Fund Board of Directors, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and attended by the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, along with board members and relevant department directors.
The meeting reviewed the items on the agenda and discussed the contents of the fund council meeting minutes across the university formations, with the necessary decisions taken in accordance with the approved regulations.
The outcomes of the meeting included the approval of financial support for several formations to sustain the educational process and develop infrastructure, in addition to supporting scientific activities, thereby contributing to enhancing academic performance and keeping pace with developments in reputable universities.
During the meeting, the University President emphasized the importance of optimal investment of financial resources in a way that achieves the university’s goals and mission, foremost among which is the delivery of high-quality technical education.
