Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and supervised by the Ministry’s Oversight and Evaluation Authority, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, conducted an on-site inspection of the electronic competitive exam for the Creativity and Excellence Award. The exam targeted top-ranking graduates from the Colleges of Health and Medical Technologies, Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques, for the academic year 2025–2026.
The exam was hosted by the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Kufa, under the supervision of the Dean and Chair of the Deans Committee, Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Rimahi, to monitor the exam procedures and ensure its smooth administration. The University President praised the college’s efforts in successfully organizing the event.
The exam was held at the College of Health and Medical Technologies in Kufa, with the participation of 50 students from various technical universities across Iraq.
Professor Dr. Angham Jassim Al-Rimahi, Dean of the College, explained that the award aims to encourage top students, provide opportunities for pursuing postgraduate studies, enhance academic competitiveness, develop scientific skills, and evaluate the educational process in different universities.
Accompanying the University President were Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanim Wadi, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, and senior university and college staff.
