Under the patronage of the President of ALFurat ALAwsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the Student Activities Department opened the university’s volleyball championship for (male and female) students.
the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Naseer Ahmed, indicated that this tournament is held within the department’s curriculum for the academic year 2022-2023, the second semester, and is managed by an arbitration team from the Central Volleyball Federation, where in light of the results of the qualifiers between the teams of the university institutions, individual talents will be determined, through which the university team will be formed to participate in the competitions that will take place later at the level of the ministry, it is mentioned that the championship will be held on the closed sports hall of the presidency site for two consecutive days, and the first day included many from the matches for male and female students to compete for the championship cup, it should be noted that the President of the University attended the opening activities of the tournament, accompanied by the vice president for administrative affairs , Professor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Majtoumy, a number of directors of departments in the Presidency of the University, officials of student activities in the institutions, and a group of associates and students.
