The President of ALFurat ALAwsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, stated that the university has appeared in twelfth place among one hundred Iraqi universities and colleges in the Webometrics classification in its latest version. It also ranked 3049 globally among eleven thousand nine hundred and ninety-three universities competing worldwide.
The Webometrics ranking of the Higher Center for Scientific Research in Spain, which is issued every half year, is based on indicators that measure the virtual presence of universities through their locations.
Clarity (50%), transparency (10%), and strength and excellence of research (40%) indicate While Al-Zuhairy blessed this achievement, he extended his thanks and appreciation to all those who worked hard and diligence to reach this honorable result of professors, researchers, and scientific and administrative leaders contributed in one way or another to show the bright image of our beloved university.
