Under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Department of Laser and Optoelectronics Engineering Technologies at the Technical Engineering College–Najaf, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a blessed religious festival to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of Imam Al-Mahdi Al-Muntadhar (may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance). The event was held in a spiritual atmosphere that reflected feelings of joy and devotion on this auspicious occasion.
The festival was attended by the respected Assistant Dean for Financial and Administrative Affairs, along with members of the department’s academic staff, reaffirming the college administration’s support for religious and cultural activities that contribute to strengthening moral and human values within the academic environment.
The festival activities included religious chants expressing meanings of joy and hopeful anticipation, in addition to the distribution of gifts to attendees, amid notable engagement and interaction from participants.
This activity comes as part of the ongoing commitment of the college administration and its academic departments, represented by the Dean, Professor Dr. Hasnain Ghani Al-Husseini, to commemorating religious occasions and fostering a sense of belonging and authentic Islamic values among students and staff, in a manner consistent with the educational and scientific mission of the institution.
