The Department of Medical Rehabilitation Techniques and Physiotherapy at the Polytechnic College of Al-Qadisiyah, affiliated with Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a voluntary activity with the participation of students from the department, under the supervision of the Head of Department, Assistant Professor Nawfal Saleh Dakhel, Assistant Professor Mariam Atiyah Khazaal, and Assistant Lecturer Maysar A’lan Abbas, as part of the activities of the Fundamentals of Nursing Laboratory.
The activity included the preparation of blood pressure measuring devices and blood glucose testing devices, along with training students on their correct use, contributing to strengthening the practical aspect and developing their applied skills in handling basic medical equipment.
This activity aligns with the university’s orientation toward supporting voluntary initiatives and developing students’ practical and human skills, thereby enhancing their role in community service and improving health awareness efforts.
