Based on the principle of sustainability and the promotion of a tree-planting culture within the university community, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organized an educational scientific seminar entitled “Indoor Ornamental Plant Cultivation.”
During the seminar, Assistant Professor Dr. Shathar Abdulhamza Imran explained that the event aims to highlight the important environmental role of evergreen plants in improving environmental conditions, reducing the effects of climate change, limiting thermal emissions, and enhancing environmental awareness within the university campus.
This activity comes as part of a series of scientific and educational events that the university is keen to organize in support of the Sustainable Development Goals and to strengthen the environmental role of academic institutions.
