The Continuing Education Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organized a training course in cooperation with Gulf College in the Sultanate of Oman, entitled “Preparing a Certified Trainer in Soft Skills Development for Faculty Members”, held during the period from January 24 to January 31, 2026.
The Director of the Continuing Education Center, Professor Dr. Mahdi Hatif Kazem, stated that the course was attended by more than 44 participants, all of whom were faculty members from various formations of the university.
The opening session took place on January 25, 2026, and was attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Bawi, who commended the Iraqi competencies and faculty members for their extensive experience.
The university affirmed that there will be ongoing cooperation with Gulf College through the organization of training workshops and scientific conferences. This training program is considered one of the most important programs for faculty members due to its significant impact on developing their skills and enhancing their teaching competencies.
