Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Kazim Al-Zubaidi, the Chemical, Biological and Radiological Safety and Security Division, in coordination with the Continuing Education Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a workshop on chemical, biological and radiological safety and security for the division’s unit officials in the university’s formations.
Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Hadi Salman, the division director, stated that the workshop addressed the definition of the tasks and responsibilities of the chemical, biological and radiological safety and security unit officials, the mechanism of chemical and biological warehouse and laboratories evaluation forms, as well as a detailed explanation of safety methods and the method of disposing of chemical, biological and medical waste in the correct manner.
The workshop was attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Ghanem Abbas, the Safety Unit Director at the Diwaniyah Technical Institute.
