Under the patronage of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Central Scientific Promotions Committee in the University Presidency organized a workshop on explaining the latest scientific promotions instructions, in the presence of the deans’ assistants for scientific affairs, heads of subcommittees, and officials of promotions units in the university colleges and institutes. The workshop was opened by Prof. Dr. Imad Abbas Al-Mulla, Chairman of the Central Scientific Promotions Committee, and Prof. Dr. Khitam Abdul Hassan, a member of the Scientific Promotions Committee. The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Awad Al-Abadi, Director of the Central Scientific Promotions Division. The workshop included an explanation of the scientific promotion’s instructions and the latest updates, as well as an explanation of the work of the subcommittees and their regional assignments, and a discussion of some paragraphs related to the proposed new instructions.
