n alignment with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to fulfill the requirements of the Digital Transformation and Automation Center at the Ministry a cornerstone of its future strategic vision Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University organized an extensive workshop on the Human Resources Management System (HR) and the Authorization Management System. This initiative supports the development of a digital infrastructure aimed at enhancing the Ministry’s strategy to streamline administrative procedures in accordance with the government program. The goal is to deliver advanced digital educational services that meet international standards in terms of educational quality, accreditation, and electronic governance. These efforts aim to ensure the efficient execution of the Ministry’s operations across all its departments, universities, faculty members, and students, while achieving full digital transformation.
The workshop was organized by the Department of Electronic Computing at the University Presidency and was attended by the University Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai, along with deans of affiliated colleges, their assistants, and staff from the central units.
The session was led by the Director of the Electronic Computing Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Tameem Hameed Obaida, and the Head of the Human Resources Division. The workshop covered a range of topics, including procedures for uploading official data and documents into the system, as well as assigning access privileges to designated personnel. The organizers emphasized the department’s commitment to holding further training sessions and highlighted the importance of adopting the newly launched digital services by the Ministry to streamline workflows and accelerate task completion. It is noteworthy that this strategic step is grounded in the broader governmental program of the Iraqi government, which emphasizes sustainable development and seeks to extend its resources and capabilities to all state institutions.
