With the direct guidance of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, to enhance oversight practices, the Department of Auditing and Internal Control at the university organized a training workshop titled “Implementation of Decisions and Instructions for Evening Studies.” The workshop was directed at the audit and internal control officials within the university, as well as Jabir Bin Hayyan University for Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The workshop was opened by Vice President for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdul Mohsen Al-Mujtami, who welcomed the attendees, emphasizing adherence to the recent directives and laws issued by the Directorate of Audit and Internal Control within the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The workshop covered key laws and directives, as well as discussions on implementation methods. Attendees reviewed challenges and obstacles in applying these regulations and concluded with a set of recommendations and necessary decisions, which will be presented to the University Board for approval.
The workshop was led by Mr. Mustafa Sabah Jihad, Director of the Auditing Department, and attended by Mr. Hossam Adel Hamid, Director of Financial Affairs, along with staff from the Auditing and Internal Control Department.
