To achieve the goals of sustainable development and under the slogan “Technical University… The Productive University,” the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, inaugurated the graduation projects exhibition for students of the Najaf Technical Institute on the sidelines of the 45th-anniversary festival of the institute’s establishment. The exhibition included projects from various departments such as Communications, Electronics, Mechanics, Aviation, Electricity, Medical Laboratories, Civil, Computer Systems, and Information Technology. It was held in the student club building and the corridors of the institute.
Dr. Al-Zubaidi reviewed the students’ projects in different technological, medical, and administrative specializations, which utilized modern communication, electronic, and information technology techniques.
The university president expressed his admiration for the promising student projects, which equip them with practical scientific projects to enter the job market.
He also praised the research and projects presented by the students in all specializations, including research related to clean energy, sustainability, and artificial intelligence, which have entered all fields of daily life.
On his part, the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Haider Hassan Al-Abdali, thanked the university president for his continuous support to the institute and his sponsorship of such initiatives. He appreciated the president’s guidance for advancing the university and its formations on local, Arab, and international levels.
Dr. Al-Zubaidi also appreciated the efforts of all those involved in this exhibition and the participating students, wishing them success in serving our dear country.
The exhibition was attended by the university’s Vice Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai and Dr. Mohammed Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, the Dean of the Engineering Technical College in Najaf, Professor Dr. Hassanain Ghani Al-Husseini, the Director of the President’s Office, Mr. Moin Al-Rubaie, along with assistants, department heads, several faculty members, staff, and students.
