In the context of the renaissance of construction witnessed by the university and its endeavor to upgrade the educational and service infrastructure for a sustainable university environment, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated a new building for the divisions of finance, control and internal audit at the Technical Institute of Babylon.
the opening was attended by the vice president for scientific and administrative affairs, the institutions’ deans, and several department directors in the presidency.
They were received by the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Iman Mohammed Abdullah, assistants, heads of departments and officials of divisions and units, and it is worth mentioning that the new building consists of two floors that include a number of offices and halls for employees and officials of the divisions, keeping and archiving documents, as well as two health complexes on each floor.
For his part, the President of the University delivered a speech on the sidelines of the opening, in which he congratulated the attendees on the advent of the month of Shaaban and congratulated on the occasion of the anniversary of births, calling on everyone for good and continued success. Al-Zuhairy pointed out that what has been achieved during the last three years at various levels comes with the concerted efforts of all scientific and administrative Pointing out that the new building was implemented by the engineering and technical staff in the Department of Construction and Projects at the Presidency of the University and in coordination with the Engineering Affairs at the Institute high specifications have been adopted in the implementation as well as equipped with devices and furniture of the best origins, and the heritage aspect mixed with modernity has been taken into account in the use of building materials in implementation through the harmonious designs adopted by the Presidency of the University in the reconstruction campaign and on the other hand, the Dean of the Technical Institute of Babylon, Prof. Dr. Iman Muhammad her thanks and appreciation to the Presidency of the University for the support it gives to all institutions praising all the efforts that resulted in achieving these achievements and that the Deanship of the Institute is continuing to implement many reconstruction projects that serve students and professors at a high level.
At the end of the ceremony, the President of the University honored the Deanship of the Institute, represented by the Dean and the committees that contributed to the implementation of this project, wishing them success and blessings for their efforts in serving the university.
