The Department of Dormitory Affairs at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University announces the opening of applications for dormitory housing for the 2025–2026 academic year, starting from Wednesday, October 29, 2025, and continuing until the end of the application period for academic departments.
Applications are open to both male and female students, including postgraduate students and first-year undergraduate students only, in accordance with the regulations and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Required Documents for First-Time Registration:
Six (6) personal photos.
An official stamped confirmation letter from the student’s academic department.
Colored copies (on one page) of the National ID of the student, father, and mother, as well as the residence card.
A residence confirmation letter (proof of residence) issued by the local Mukhtar and certified by the municipal council, confirming the distance from the university.
Documents required from the guarantor:
For employed guarantors: an official employment continuity confirmation letter + a colored copy of the guarantor’s ID.
For retired guarantors: only a colored copy of the guarantor’s ID is required.
Important Note:
At first-time registration, the guarantor must be present in person for fingerprinting and signing the student housing guarantee form.
Housing fees are to be paid electronically.
Application Requirements:
The student must be actively enrolled and not have their registration suspended, as confirmed by their academic department.
Adherence to all university housing rules and regulations.
Completion and submission of the electronic housing application form (printed copy) within the specified period.
Priority for Admission:
Students from distant provinces, districts, and sub-districts.
Families of martyrs and special humanitarian cases.
Based on the available capacity of the dormitories.
