Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Hêlo Al-Askari, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and within a strategic vision aimed at supporting young talents and promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Technical Institute of Babylon continued the activities of Entrepreneurship and Creativity Week 2026, coinciding with the Global Entrepreneurship Week, with direct follow-up by the Dean of the Technical Institute, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Najah Kazem.
Within this framework, the Institute organized an awareness poster distribution campaign entitled:
“The Role of Entrepreneurship in Making Our Society Better,” as part of its efforts to spread a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation and to highlight the importance of entrepreneurial projects in supporting economic and social development.
The campaign aimed to introduce students to the significance of entrepreneurship as an effective tool for creating job opportunities, stimulating creativity, and transforming ideas into projects that serve society and contribute to sustainable development, in addition to raising awareness of the role of youth in building a better future.
The campaign witnessed positive engagement from students, who emphasized the importance of such initiatives in reinforcing the concepts of entrepreneurship and innovation within the university environment.
This activity is part of a series of initiatives that the Technical Institute of Babylon is keen to organize in support of young talents, encouraging students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset and to keep pace with the requirements of the modern era.
