Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, and within a strategic vision aimed at supporting young talents and fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, the Babylon Technical Institute continued the activities of Entrepreneurship and Creativity Week 2026, in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week, with direct follow-up from the Dean of the Babylon Technical Institute.
In this context, the Institute organized, for the third consecutive day, a scientific seminar entitled “How to Become a Successful Entrepreneur,” as part of its efforts to promote an entrepreneurial culture and highlight the fundamental components that contribute to building successful entrepreneurial ventures.
The seminar addressed several key themes, most notably the importance of adopting an entrepreneurial mindset, mechanisms for transforming ideas into practical projects, as well as planning skills, risk management, and leveraging available opportunities in the labor market in a manner that ensures sustainability and success.
The seminar witnessed positive engagement from students, contributing to raising their awareness of the significance of entrepreneurship and motivating them to adopt entrepreneurial initiatives in alignment with contemporary demands and evolving labor market dynamics.
This seminar forms part of a series of activities that the Babylon Technical Institute is keen to organize in support of young talents and to further strengthen the culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the educational environment.
