As part of the activities marking the National Day of the Holy Quran, and in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, the Media and Government Communication Division at Al-Samawa Technical Institute, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, organized a scientific course entitled “Rules of Recitation and Tajweed,” with the participation of a number of the institute’s staff and students.
The course included theoretical and practical sessions that addressed the correct fundamentals of Quranic recitation, the rules of Tajweed, and points of articulation of letters, contributing to raising the level of recitation and enhancing proper understanding of the Holy Quran. It also aimed to reinforce Quranic and moral values within the university community.
This activity seeks to commemorate the national occasion, enhance religious and cultural awareness, and promote a culture of attention to the Holy Quran through recitation and contemplation, in line with the mission of the educational institution to build individuals both academically and ethically, and to contribute to preparing a conscious university generation committed to authentic Islamic values.
