In line with achieving sustainable development goals and developing the university environment and infrastructure, and as part of the University President’s follow-up on the construction and development campaign across the university’s Kufa campus, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi conducted an on-site inspection of ongoing projects.
During his field tour, the University President reviewed the progress of two major projects: the Specialized Laboratories Building at the Higher Institute of Nano Technologies and the Administration Building of the Technical Institute of Kufa and the Administrative Assistance Department.
He provided his observations on both project sites and instructed an acceleration of the work pace, while ensuring adherence to high-quality engineering standards and maintaining the architectural identity of the facilities, which combines modernity with the preservation of heritage elements.
It is worth noting that these projects are supervised by Dr. Muhannad Abdul-Zahra Al-Khaqani, Director of the University’s Construction and Projects Department, in cooperation with Mr. Muhammad Abbas Abdul, Director of the Diwan Affairs Department. The University President also praised the efforts of the engineering and technical teams, as well as the supporting staff, with the expectation that these projects will be inaugurated soon to serve students and university staff.
Accompanying the University President during the visit were the Assistant Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanim Wadi and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Mohsen Al-Majtoumi; the Dean of the Higher Institute of Nano Technologies for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Bashar Jabbar Hamza; the Dean of the Technical Institute of Rumitha, Professor Dr. Qahtan Al-Fatlawi; the Dean of the Technical Institute of Kufa, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abadi; and his office director, Assistant Professor Muin Al-Rubaie.
