- Reviewing employee performance to assess their ability to carry out assigned tasks.
- Issuing university orders for dismissals and assignments after obtaining the necessary approvals.
- Identifying areas of weakness in employees to address them through training, development, or transfer to a more suitable position in line with their qualifications and experience.
- Preparing a standard evaluation system based on efficiency.
- Issuing letters of thanks and appreciation.
- Issuing orders for terminating employee service according to the provisions of Civil Service Law No. 24 of 196 due to leaving work, death, or resignation.
- Issuing circulars containing ministerial and university directives.
- Receiving leave requests from employees of various types in accordance with relevant laws and decisions, verifying eligibility, obtaining approval from the relevant authority, and then issuing the corresponding university orders for each leave type.
- Granting employees the required allowances according to applicable laws.
- Providing the Employment and Staffing Division (Transfers) with the dates of employee separation and rejoining after leave.
- Preparing joining and separation letters for employees inside and outside Iraq.
- Issuing university orders for assignment to work outside official working hours.
