The necessity of enhancing scientific publication in international indexing databases, and the importance of all university formations closely monitoring the data and statistics received from the Ministry to evaluate the current status of scientific publishing. This should be leveraged to improve the quality of rigorous academic research, with an emphasis on accelerating efforts to include Iraqi scientific journals within reputable international indexing databases.
Supporting legally established scientific associations in order to enable their contribution to scientific development in a manner that serves the objectives and plans of sustainable development. These associations may be included and engaged, according to their areas of specialization, in the membership of the industrial advisory councils formed within universities.
The importance of adhering to the regulations governing the establishment of reputable scientific journals, stemming from the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the status of these journals in line with the standards adopted by international indexing databases.
The necessity of completing registration procedures for newly admitted first-year students for the 2025–2026 academic year in accordance with the announced timelines and the approved academic calendar, while observing the specific requirements related to disciplines operating under the Bologna Process and ensuring the provision of all necessary requirements.
In another context, the University President expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister for his leadership of the Ministry during the previous years and for his support of the University at all levels, particularly the qualitative initiatives such as the establishment of the Higher Institute of Nanotechnology for postgraduate studies.

Commending the reconstruction and development campaign taking place across the University and its formations to provide an exemplary academic environment, while emphasizing adherence to engineering specifications to ensure quality implementation.
The necessity of closely monitoring scientific research activity, as it represents a pivotal component of the Ministry’s and universities’ work and a gateway toward global engagement. In this regard, the University Council highly appreciates the substantial support provided by His Excellency the Minister to this vital area.
The importance of holding continuous meetings with university staff, reminding them of instructions, regulations, and academic traditions, and working to strengthen institutional affiliation.
Continuously identifying students’ needs and meeting those that are feasible, while emphasizing the provision of a positive environment and fostering sound human relations with students, as they constitute the core of the educational process.
The necessity for the University, across all its formations, to adopt initiatives that enhance its academic reputation by activating memoranda of understanding concluded with reputable international universities and by organizing joint scientific conferences and workshops.
