Ministry of Higher Education Announces Extension of the Application Deadline for Central Admission Channels
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the extension of the application deadline for the Central Admission channels until Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The Ministry clarifies that the extension applies to the Central Admission channels, including the General Admission channel, the Distinguished Students channel, and the Martyrs’ Families channel, as well as Direct Admission, Elite Student Admission, and admission to the College of Excellence in Arabic Language and Literature at the University of Kufa.
The Ministry emphasizes that the extension is intended to provide students who graduated in the first and second examination rounds with additional time to complete the application requirements and review their admission opportunities through the aforementioned channels.
The Ministry further notes that the application forms for the Private Parallel Education channel and Private Higher Education will be launched at a later stage, following the announcement of the Central Admission results. Applications for both channels will be submitted centrally and electronically exclusively through the Qudum Platform, and students will not be required to visit any public or private university to complete the application process.
