The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Kazem Al-Zubaidi, received Member of Parliament Ahmed Kain Al-Khazaali in his office, during a visit aimed at opening new horizons for scientific and cultural cooperation in relevant fields, in the presence of a number of department directors.
During the meeting, aspects of joint cooperation between the two sides were reviewed in a manner that enhances frameworks of mutual understanding, with the aim of strengthening relations and exchanging expertise and consultations.
For his part, the University President provided an overview of the university and its organizational formations distributed across five provinces in the Middle Euphrates region, as well as its technical specializations in the health, medical, engineering, agricultural, and administrative fields across all its educational institutions. He also highlighted the newly approved academic programs ratified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the university’s sustainable development projects, and its role in serving the community.
In turn, Al-Khazaali affirmed his support for the development of the technical education environment across all health, medical, and engineering technical specializations, particularly in the field of clean energy, within all educational institutions.
The University President also accompanied the guest on a tour of the university campus and its facilities, in addition to a visit to Al-Kufa Technical Institute, where they were received by the Dean of the Institute, Professor Dr. Atheer Kazem Abbadi. The Dean accompanied the Member of Parliament and the University President on a tour of the recently established academic departments designed to meet the needs of the labor market.
