Department Mission, Vision, and Objectives
Mission
The Student Activities Department seeks to create a vibrant university environment that enhances students' academic experience by providing diverse programs and activities in cultural, athletic, artistic, and social fields.
Objectives
The department aims to develop students' skills, foster leadership and cooperation, and instill positive values that contribute to building a conscious generation capable of effective societal contribution.
Vision
Establish organizational and financial policies and plan for the Student Activities divisions in the department and across the university's colleges and institutes to achieve the department's goals and vision in student development and talent nurturing.
Provide necessary resources for practicing sports, artistic, scouting, and volunteer activities.
Develop an annual curriculum for the Student Activities Department, including activities (Quranic, sports, artistic, scouting, literary) and implement it at the university headquarters and its formations.
Submit proposals to improve the quality of student activities across the university.
Organize specialized training courses in various student activities to enhance human resource efficiency and optimize their contribution.
Identify and nurture students' athletic, artistic, and scouting talents and involve them in competitions and ministry festivals.
Hold regular meetings with student activity officials to identify obstacles and find appropriate solutions.
Prepare quarterly and annual reports on the department's activities and events, including announcing results of sports competitions and festivals for inclusion in the annual evaluation system of the formations.
Conduct field visits to supervise and follow up on the execution of competitions and festivals organized by the department in university formations.
Evaluate results of sports competitions, artistic and scouting festivals, and support and reward outstanding students.
Assign committees to supervise the activities organized by the department at the university headquarters and its formations.
Host sports competitions and diverse artistic ministry festivals, ensuring all necessary arrangements for their success.
Collaborate with holy shrines to organize Quranic, intellectual, and social activities for university students.
