On the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) ,inauguration the building of the Department of Construction and a number of specialized medical and engineering laboratories
On the occasion of the University’s celebrations of the birth of Prophet (pbuh), the President of ALFurat ALAwsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, inaugurated Building of the Department of Construction and a number of specialized medical and engineering laboratories at the Technical Institute of Samawa and the hall of celebrations and central colloquy ,Which was accomplished under the follow-up of the Dean of the Institute, Prof. Dr. Sabah Al-Mutouki in the official presence represented by a number of deans of faculties at Muthanna University and the Director General of Muthanna Education, as well as the Administrative vice to the President of the University, a number of deans of institution’s and managers of departments in the Presidency of the University and staffs .
Zuhairi explained in an interview with satellite channels that the building of the Building and Construction Department, which consists of administrative offices, halls and specialized laboratories such as the soil laboratory, asphalt laboratory, construction materials laboratory and concrete tests, has been rehabilitated.
Other specialized medical and engineering laboratories were also opened for students of the Medical Laboratories and Community Health Departments and the Electricity Department.
In addition to the above, the central celebration and seminar hall was opened, which includes 350 chairs equipped with modern displays and an audio system.
Al-Zuhairi went on to say that the implementation of the aforementioned projects has been carried out with close follow-up by the Dean of the Institute and direct supervision by the Department of Reconstruction and Projects in the Presidency of the University and the implementation of the engineering and technical staff at the Institute and with the latest technical specifications, and at the same time modern technologies have been adopted in the processing of laboratories, pointing out that the completion of such projects will certainly reflect positively on the consolidation of the educational process through the provision of high-level training.
It is worth mentioning that the opening of the projects today at the Technical Institute Samawah comes within a series of recent achievements witnessed by the university recently, the latest of which was the opening of the aviation workshop building and the administrative wing attached to it at the Engineering Technical College Najaf, the laboratories of the Computing Center, and the square and station of Zamzam on the campus in Kufa.
During the ceremony, a speech was delivered by the President of the University in which he spoke about the fragrant biography of the Great Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and also referred to the urban renaissance witnessed by the university blessing the efforts exerted by all, followed by a number of paragraphs that concluded by honoring the distinguished and a number of retired members of the Institute as well as the committees involved in the implementation of projects.
