The President of the Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, attended the celebration organized by the Holy Shrine of Ali under the patronage of the Secretary-General of the Shrine, Mr. Issa Al-Sayyid Muhammad Salih Al-Khorasan, as part of the activities of the Week of the Newborn of the Kaaba, and on the fragrant anniversary of the birth of the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him), to honor a number of academic elites who obtained the title of professorship and patent for the year 2024. The celebration was attended by the Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdul-Hassan, representing His Excellency the Minister, and a number of university presidents, professors and guests. The President of the University and the Dean of the Technical College of Engineering in Najaf, Prof. Dr. Hassanein Ghani Al-Hussaini, the Dean of the Technical College in Al-Musayyab, Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Wadi, the Dean of the Technical Institute in Diwaniyah, Prof. Dr. Zaid Maan Al-Dulaimi, and a number of professors in the university formations.
