As part of the university’s efforts to promote the academic environment and provide a modern educational setting, the university’s president visited the in-progress constrictions at the College of Health and Medical Techniques. Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, visited the College of Health and Medical Techniques in Kufa accompanied by the Dean of College of Health and Medical Techniques Dr. Angham Al-Ramahi to explore the progress of ongoing projects.

The field visit included visiting the construction sites of the scientific departments’ building, the extension of the library, studies hall, laboratories, and other rising projects. These projects aim to transform the college into a model and attractive academic environment.

These efforts result from the deanship’s persistence in accomplishing those projects to develop and establish innovative scientific departments and disciplines that facilitate the rising needs of the labor and local market. Also, this would provide an additional place to increase the accepted student on those disciplines in both day and night shifts of the undergraduate and post graduate courses.

In addition, the president instructed the responsible departments to accelerate the pace of work, while ensuring high engineering standards, and emphasized the importance of maintaining the architectural distinctiveness of the facility, which combines modern design with the preservation of urban heritage.

Furthermore, the president also commended the efforts made by the engineering and technical staff, as well as all supporting teams in these projects, which are hoped to be opened soon.

It should be noted that these projects were initiated a few months ago under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College. During his field visit, the president was accompanied by the Administrative Assistant to the president, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdelmohsen Al-Mujtoumi, and members of the University and College Council.
