President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University Follows Up on Development Projects at Al-Musayyib Polytechnic College
As part of his ongoing field efforts to monitor the university’s activities across all its geographically distributed academic units, the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, conducted an extensive inspection tour of development projects at Al-Musayyib Polytechnic College. He was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Malik Nima Hawas Al-Khazraji, along with the supervising engineering team.
During the tour, the University President inspected on site the advanced final stages of two strategic projects that are set to transform the college’s facilities:
- The Model Academic Departments Building: A project expected to represent a major step forward in the college’s educational infrastructure.
- The Central Graduation Ceremony Auditorium: A new landmark facility designed to host graduation celebrations for students and their families.
Al-Zubaidi closely reviewed the final cost estimates, work-progress schedules, and actual completion rates on the ground. He also discussed the technical and logistical requirements needed to accelerate the pace of implementation.
During the tour, Al-Zubaidi emphasized that the ultimate objective is to “provide a safe, modern, and comfortable university environment worthy of Al-Furat Al-Awsat students as the next academic year begins.” He stressed his firm directives that all construction work and materials used must be “100% compliant with approved standard engineering specifications, as there can be no compromise when it comes to quality that will serve our students for decades to come.”
The Dean of the College confirmed that work is progressing at an accelerated pace, with a strong commitment to the directives of the University Presidency to complete the projects within their specified timelines.
The tour further highlights that Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University is currently experiencing an unprecedented period of infrastructure and academic development, driven by hands-on leadership that goes beyond the confines of offices.
The University President was accompanied on his field tour by the University President’s Assistants for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghanem Wadai and Professor Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Mohsen Al-Majtoumi; the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Wadi Al-Zubaidi; the deans of the Higher Institute for Nanotechnology for Postgraduate Studies and Babylon Polytechnic College; as well as a number of department directors at the University Presidency, the engineering and technical teams implementing the projects, and senior staff members at the college.
