Professor Dr. Hassan Lateef Al-Zubaidi, President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, visited the University of Kufa, accompanied by Professor Dr. Angham Jasim Al-Ramahi, Dean of Health and Medical Technical College – Kufa. He met Professor Dr. Alaa Naji Al-Mawla, President of the University of Kufa.
The visit aimed to activate and strengthen prospects for joint scientific cooperation between the two universities in health and medical specialties, contributing to the advancement of Iraqi universities and enhancing their academic and scientific standing regionally and globally. It also seeks to promote the exchange of academic and practical expertise between faculty members, Facilitating scientific sabbaticals and cooperation in the supervision of graduate and undergraduate students.
The discussions focused on key areas, including:
• Developing laboratories and scientific equipment, with a focus on specialized labs and workshops in both institutions.
• Exchanging knowledge resources, scientific publications, and academic programs that support educational objectives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of broadening the scope of cooperation in a way that supports scientific research and serves the community.
