The President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Lateef Kazem Al-Zubaidi, attended the award ceremony honoring the winners of the Arabic Language and Literature Award, graciously sponsored by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi.

In his opening speech, the Minister emphasized that this award represents a key component of the system of scientific and academic awards adopted and supervised by the Ministry under his direct patronage. He explained that these awards establish an integrated pathway that reinforces the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s mission to build an academic environment that encourages creativity across all fields of knowledge. He noted that the goal is to cultivate a sustainable culture of awareness among academics, enabling them to contribute effectively to scientific and cultural progress and to become a competitive force in regional and international arenas.

The ceremony featured speeches by the Chair of the Organizing Committee, the Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Adnan Ibrahim Al-Jumaili; the President of the Iraqi Scientific Academy, Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Yassin; and the Cultural Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, Dr. Aref Al-Saadi.

The event concluded with the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, honoring the winners of the Arabic Language and Literature Award, which included a prize of five million Iraqi dinars for the first-place winner, three million dinars for the second-place winner, and two million dinars for the third-place winner. Additionally, several officials from scientific institutions were also recognized.
