- Managing the affairs of the division and identifying supervisory committees responsible for sports activities, as well as preparing the sports activity programs according to ministerial timelines.
- Proposing coaches for the university teams and setting up a training program to prepare the university sports teams before entering official championships.
- Preparing the championship schedules and supervising their implementation at the specified time and place after approval, and issuing the regulations and instructions in accordance with ministerial guidelines.
- Following up on the progress of championships for team and individual sports for students, preparing reports for each championship, and documenting their results.
- Assigning refereeing teams in coordination with the relevant sports federations to oversee the championships in accordance with approved sports rules and regulations.
- Evaluating the participation results of the university’s colleges and institutes in internal and ministerial sports championships.
- Conducting continuous field follow-up on the status of sports activities, playgrounds, and sports halls to ensure their sustainability in serving the university students.
