With the rapid advancements in information technology and its applications, information systems have become an essential tool for enabling societal institutions, particularly universities, to maintain continuity and succeed in achieving their objectives. Recognizing this, the Systems and Software Division was established within the Computer Center at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University.
This division is responsible for automating administrative and financial processes by meeting the needs of the university presidency and its administrative departments, as well as scientific and engineering departments. It also extends its services to state institutions and the private sector by developing appropriate software applications and training staff on their use, aiming to improve performance, reduce costs, and increase efficiency, quality, and speed.
