The Board of Directors of the Higher Education Fund at Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University held its regular meeting, chaired by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Lateef Kazem Al-Zubaidi, and attended by the committee members, including Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul-Mohsen Al-Majtoumi, Vice President for Administrative Affairs, along with the directors of the relevant departments.
During the meeting, the Board reviewed the items listed on the agenda and those submitted through the minutes of the Fund Councils in the university’s formations, after which the necessary decisions were taken.
The recommendations included providing financial support to several university formations to sustain the educational process and develop the university’s infrastructure, as well as supporting scientific activities across its colleges and institutes. This comes with the aim of enhancing the university’s academic performance and keeping pace with the progress witnessed in reputable international universities, following a thorough review and auditing of the financial statements submitted for that purpose.
The University President emphasized that the optimal investment of resources is fundamental to achieving the university’s goals and fulfilling its mission, foremost of which is delivering high-quality technical education.
