The Institute’s agricultural researchers successfully produced cucumber crops for the second consecutive season, following the Institute’s strategic green plan and attaining its most essential aims by constructing protected agriculture initiatives. The Deanship of the Institute and the Presidency of ATU University has given great attention to this project and similar projects to advance the protected agricultural sector and fill the permanent shortage of vegetable crops in the local market. Also, it is the interest of the Deanship of the Institute and the efforts made by specialist staff and researchers in this field to contribute to increasing annual production and training students to work on small projects in the same field.
