Under the patronage of the chancellor of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University (ATU), Prof. Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairy, the Dean of the Administrative Technical College / Kufa, Prof. Dr. Fadel Abdul-Abbas Al-Abedy, inaugurated the (Environment Friendly) Festival in its eleventh session, held by the Technical Institute in Karbala.
Prof. Dr. Fadel Muhammad Zahir, Dean of the Technical Institute / Karbala, referred to the university chancellor’s directions in his address, which aimed to create a sustainable university environment that matches the state of development and trends at the local and global levels.
The event also featured recognizing the scientific departments that received first place in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s national performance ranking and lecturers and researchers who published research with international citations. The event also included a charity market to benefit patients from orphan families by giving a wide variety of commodities provided by Institute staff and a flower exhibition conducted by Emam Al-Abbas’ (peace be upon him) shrine. The Health Department Community also hosted a charity medical clinic.
