Under the patronage of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of the President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, the Engineering Technical College of Oil and Energy – Al-Muthanna continued its Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week 2026 activities, in conjunction with Global Entrepreneurship Week.

With direct follow-up from the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sadiq Hassan Abdul Aziz, the College organized two specialized scientific seminars focusing on innovation and professional challenges, within a strategic vision aimed at supporting young talents.

The first seminar, entitled Artificial Intelligence and the Challenges Facing Graduates of the Oil and Gas Department, was delivered by Dr. Bilal Naji Al-Hasnawi, highlighting applications and emerging opportunities within the energy sector.

The second seminar addressed The Responsibilities of the Resident Engineer and Consulting Executor across Various Engineering Sites. It was presented by Dr. Mustafa Shaker Farman and covered technical supervision, verification of specifications, risk management, and the preparation of periodic reports to ensure quality implementation.

These activities aim to foster an entrepreneurial culture among students, reflecting the University’s commitment to academic innovation in Iraq.
