Under the direct guidance of Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, President of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, and in implementation of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education regarding the necessity of obtaining accreditation for the university’s engineering laboratories, the university has successfully renewed the accreditation certificate for the Engineering Laboratory at Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College. The certificate was issued by the Ministry of Planning – the Iraqi Accreditation Authority – for testing construction materials and metallic materials.
During his meeting with the Dean of Al-Qadisiyah Polytechnic College, Professor Dr. Zaki Muhammad Abbas Bahiyah, the university president emphasized his close follow-up of the implementation stages of the Iraqi Standards Accreditation System. He noted that the implementation stages included the calibration of all laboratory equipment by the Standardization and Quality Control Authority following recent updates, training all laboratory examiners and staff to operate the new equipment, and developing the administrative personnel to work in accordance with the laboratory accreditation system.
