The Technical College of Al-Musayyib, one of the formations of the Middle Euphrates Technical University, received a ministerial committee from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, headed by Assistant Professor Dr. Ghassan Nash’at Mohammed, to review the requirements for establishing several new academic departments, in line with the university’s efforts to develop its academic programs and introduce specializations that meet the needs of the labor market.

The committee was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ali Al-Zubaidi, and senior staff members. During the visit, the committee reviewed the infrastructure, lecture halls, scientific laboratories, and the available human and technical resources at the college.

The visit included monitoring logistical preparations and assessing the availability of the academic and administrative requirements necessary for establishing the new departments, in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to support technical and vocational specializations and develop the educational environment.

The college dean affirmed their commitment to introducing specialized programs that contribute to preparing qualified technical professionals capable of meeting labor market demands and supporting the advancement of technical education.

The establishment of the new academic departments comes within the university’s broader strategy to develop applied academic disciplines and create an educational environment that helps produce qualified technical staff capable of meeting labor market needs and supporting sustainable development pathways.
