The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the commencement of applications for the Direct Admission Channel for the 2026–2027 academic year.
The Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up stated that applications and admission tests will continue until Sunday, October 4, 2026, for the programs covered by direct admission at colleges, for graduates of preparatory schools from the scientific, literary, arts, vocational, and Islamic branches, as well as graduates of institutes of fine arts and music studies.
The Department of Studies, Planning and Follow-up explained that the colleges and departments covered by the Direct Admission Channel include Colleges and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences; Colleges of Fine Arts and Departments of Art Education; Colleges and Departments of Archaeology; Departments of Kurdish, Turkish, and Syriac Languages; the Departments of Kindergarten and Home Economics; Colleges of Islamic Sciences and Jurisprudence; the College of Applied Arts at the Middle Technical University; Colleges and Departments of Agriculture; the College of Applied Sports Science Technologies; and the Departments of Arabic Language, History, Philosophy, Sociology, Tourism, and Psychology.
The Department emphasizes that students applying to Colleges and Departments of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, as well as the College of Applied Sports Science Technologies, must obtain the application form and complete the medical examination before visiting the university to take the admission test, through the Qudim Platform application.
