The President of Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, Professor Dr. Hassan Latif Al-Zubaidi, conducted a field visit to follow up on the ongoing preparations for the inauguration of the Deanship building of the College of Applied Sports Sciences Technologies. He was accompanied by the Dean of the Higher Institute for Nanotechnology for Postgraduate Studies, Professor Dr. Bashar Jabbar, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Nusayr Ahmed Kamil. The visit aimed to assess the readiness of the infrastructure and the facilities designated for the college.
The tour included an inspection of the building, lecture halls, and scientific laboratories, as well as an evaluation of the educational environment requirements, including technical and technological equipment that supports academic and research pathways.
The University President emphasized the Presidency’s commitment to providing the necessary academic and administrative requirements in accordance with approved regulations, stressing the importance of the college as a qualitative addition that contributes to community service and enhances the field of applied sports sciences.
This follow-up comes within the framework of the university’s preparations to inaugurate the college and receive students, in line with its strategic plan to develop specialized disciplines and advance the academic landscape.
